The tank must be at least 2000L in capacity and plumbed to feed toilets or a washing machine inside the house.

The rebate is available to all home owners in Australia, except those in Adelaide. The rebate will be on offer from 30/01/2009 to 31/03/2014, and only applies to water tanks purchased after 30/01/2009.
